Diving Lessons ( Adults & Children )

Children and Teens (15 & Under)
Flip ‘n’ Fun
Weekly Training - 40 minutes x 1 or 2 session a week
Entry Standard-
- Children under the age of 16
- Confidently swim 15m
- Can tread water for 30secs
- Can stand and listen to simple instructions
Target-
- Gain knowledge of diving, body-shape and positions.
- Develop confidence in deep water
- Learn diving glides and water skills
- Learn basic Jumps and skills from Poolside, 1m and 3m
- Learn basic forward dives from Poolside
- Perform all skills to a passing standard
Level 1
Weekly Training - 40 minutes x 1 or 2 session a week
Entry Standard-
- Must have successfully Passed Flip ‘n’ Fun
- Jump from 3m
Target-
- Learn a basic back dive on Poolside
- Learn basic forward dives from 1m and 3m
- Learn forward jump from 5m
- Perform all skills to a passing standard
Level 2
Weekly Training - 55 minutes x 1 or 2 sessions a week
Entry Standard-
- Must have successfully passed Level 1
- Line Up from 3m
- Forward Jump from 5m
Target-
- Start learning fundamental dry land skills
- Learn a Forward Tuck Dive
- Start learning the Inward and reverse movement
- Learn a Back Falling Dive from 1m
- Perform all skills to a passing standard
Level 3
Weekly Training - 1 hr 10mins x 1 or 2 sessions a week
Entry Standard-
- Must have successfully passed Level 2
- Sitting Tuck Roll from 3m
- Back Tuck Jump from 3m
- Forward Pike Jump from 5m
Target-
- Learning new dry land skills and Dive Drills
- Improve flexibility, core stability, muscle tone and strength
- Improve Forward and Back Jumps from 1m
- Start Learning the Hurdle Step
- Learn forward and inward dive tuck from 1m
- Learn backwards falling dives from 3m
- Perform all skills to a passing standard
Adults and Older Teens (16+)
Adult Level 1
Weekly Training - 45 minutes x 1 or 2 session a week
Entry Standard-
- Aged 16+
- Confidently swim 15m
- Can tread water for 30secs
Target-
- Gain knowledge of diving, body-shape and positions.
- Develop confidence in deep water
- Learn basic jumps and dives using poolside and boards
- Learn backwards falling dives from 3m
- Learn a forward falling dive from 5m
- Develop a 3 dive list of divers from for 1m, 3m
Adult Level 2
Weekly Training - 1 hour x 1 or 2 sessions a week
Entry Standard-
- Back Fall Straight & Back Tuck Roll from 3m
- Line Up from 5m
- 3 Dives from 3 Groups on 1m
- 3 Dives from 2 Groups on 3m
Target-
- Start learning fundamental dry land skills
- Improve flexibility, core stability, muscle tone and strength
- Learn a forward falling dive from 7.5m
- Learn a backwards falling dive from 5m
- Develop a 6 dive list of divers from for 1m, 3m
- Develop a 4 dive list of divers from for 5m
*PLEASE NOTE:
- It is recommended that Divers in Level 2, Level 3 and Adults Level 2 come twice a week
