Senior Management Team includes:
   
  DAVID CONWAY
Chief Executive Officer, National Sports Campus Development Authority.  Involved in the Abbotstown project since 2001. A former Physical Education teacher, an MBA graduate and Project Manager, he was previously involved with the development of Sports Facilities at the University of Limerick as their Sports Administrator; as Head of Sports at Dublin City University and as Director of Operations at the National Aquatic Centre. He has also worked with a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport.

  Ray Hoare   RAY HOARE
Head of Human Resources

Over 20 years experience in HR/training both in Ireland and internationally. Previously worked with Pioneer Global Investments (Milan and Paris), Citigroup Dublin, Ulster Bank Capital Markets and Intel Ireland. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Ray is also the holder of an honours degree in business a post graduate diploma in HR/Industrial Relations.
         
Niall Rooney   NIALL ROONEY
Head of Maintenance
Niall previously worked in Intel Ireland for two years in the facilities / Maintenance services, prior to that he worked with IBM (Ireland) Microelectronics Division for six and a half years as a Maintenance Engineer. Niall has a BEng Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (distinction). Niall was shortlisted for a special award on his final thesis by Engineers Ireland. Niall was runner up in the Ilam Manager of the Year awards 2010. He is currently studying at night for his BSc Degree in Electrical Services & Energy Management in DIT Kevin Street.
  Robbie Whelan   ROBBIE WHELAN
Commercial Manager – National Sports Campus

Extensive experience within the travel and hospitality industry in UK, Germany and Ireland. BSc Management from DIT Business Faculty and Trinity College. Involved in the setting up of “ebookers.ie” while working for “ebookers.com”. Keen sportsman. Winner of All Ireland medals at schoolboy level in both soccer and gaelic football.
 

LIAM GRIFFIN
Sports Operations Manager
Liam joined the NSCDA Team in June 2012 as the Head of Sports Operations. Liam previously worked as Hi-Tec Sports Training & Merchandising Executive for both Ireland & Northern Ireland and as a Retail Manager within Aldi. He has also been a key member of one of the South-Easts largest sporting facilities, The Watershed, heading up their Gym & Fitness operations. Liam is a graduate of WIT with a National Diploma in Business and BA in Business, Recreation and Leisure Management and the Aldi Management training program.
