DAVID CONWAY
Director of Operations Involved in the Abbotstown project since 2001. A former Physical Education teacher, an MBA graduate and Project Manager, he was previously involved with the development of Sports Facilities at the University of Limerick as their Sports Administrator; as Head of Sports at Dublin City University and as Director of Operations at the National Aquatic Centre. He has also worked with a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport.
RAY HOARE
Head of Human Resources
Over 20 years experience in HR/training both in Ireland and internationally. Previously worked with Pioneer Global Investments (Milan and Paris), Citigroup Dublin, Ulster Bank Capital Markets and Intel Ireland. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Ray is also the holder of an honours degree in business a post graduate diploma in HR/Industrial Relations.
NIALL ROONEY
Head of Maintenance Previously facilities/ maintenance technician at Intel Ireland where he was responsible for the Ultra Pure Waste Water Systems for the site. Also worked with IBM (microelectronics division) and Hasselgren Racing California. Qualified maintenance fitter. Currently studying for degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
He has recently been nominated for Manager for the year award with ILAM.
ROBBIE WHELAN Marketing and Sales Manager Extensive experience within the travel and hospitality industry in UK, Germany and Ireland. BSc Management from DIT Business Faculty and Trinity College. Involved in the setting up of “ebookers.ie” while working for “ebookers.com”. Keen sportsman. Winner of All Ireland medals at schoolboy level in both soccer and gaelic football.
