Cricket Ireland and the National Aquatic Centre

Cricket Ireland are members and regular users of the elite training facilities at both the Morton Stadium, Santry, and the National Aquatic Centre.

According to Phil Simmons, Head Coach;

“These facilities have been a great boost to our training and recovery programme, and this is reflected in our growing international stature”.

Pictured at the recent historic one day International against England at Clontarf were;

(above) Barry O’Brien, CEO of National Sports Campus Development Authority with Phil Simmons, Head Coach, Cricket Ireland.

The Irish Cricket team have gone on to defeat both Namibia and Canada respectively in the Intercontinental Cup in the past 2 weeks.
