Membership Rules

​Swim Rules    


  • Swim hats are compulsory in all pools for all users

  • Children aged 8 and under must be constantly supervised by a responsible adult while using the facilities.  A maximum of 2 children aged 8 and  under are permitted entry with one adult.

  • We reserve the right to temporarily restrict entry to all areas when necessary for safety reasons. The 1 metre pool depth cannot always be  guaranteed if swim academies or galas are taking place.

  • You must be aged 16 or over to use the Health Suite (Sauna, Steam Room or Jacuzzi), private members changing area

  • Last showers are 15 mins before closing time.  Members must vacate the building no later than the official closing time.

  •  You must wear a conventional swimming costume

  • You must not run, jump or dive in the pool area.

  • Washing, shaving etc are not allowed in the pool area.

  •  We do not allow balls, inflatables in the pool area or anything that would affect other pool users.

  • Oils and lotions are not allowed in the Spa, Steam room or Sauna.

  • Food is not allowed to be consumed in the pool area.

  • For pool hygiene and member safety, children of nappy wearing age must have a swim nappy on while using the pool.

  • For pool hygiene, all members and guests must shower before using the pool, spa, steam room and sauna.

  • Any child that is 6 years of age or older must get changed in the appropriate changing room and be accompanied by an adult i.e. Boys in the Male  Changing room and girls in the Ladies.

  • No cameras or mobile phones, which possess photographic functions, are to be used in the Centre at any time. Permission must be agreed in  advance by management for any other photographic equipment to be used in the Centre

Gym Rules

  • Before using The Gym, the member must first complete a Gym Introduction pre-exercise questionnaire and have read, completed and signed the Health Screening Statement whereby the member warrants and represents that he/she is in good health and is not knowingly incapable of  engaging in either active or passive exercise. The member further warrants that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being or physical condition.

  •  If your medical circumstances change during your membership it is the responsibility of you the member to inform the company. All Physical activity is undertaken at the members own risk.

  • A Youth wishing to join the club must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the time of joining.

  • You must wear suitable attire always.

  • You must not take food into the Gym or Studios.

  • Members must change into clean suitable training shoes before working out and not wear outdoor shoes.

  • As a courtesy to other members please wipe down the Gym equipment after use.

  • Members unsure about any equipment should consult a member of staff.

  • While every precaution is taken to maintain safety standards, all equipment and facilities are used at the members risk. Any malfunction of equipment noted should be reported to a member of staff as soon as it is noticed.

  • Please use plastic bottles with sports lids for drinks in the gym and studios

  •  We ask members not to use mobile phones in the gym and studio area as this interferes with other member’s experience.

  • Towels must be used always in the Health and Fitness Centre for hygiene purposes.

  • During busier times, we may ask members to limit their usage of equipment or share equipment between sets.
